MOUNT IJEN TOUR
Mount Ijen Tour will be the best trekking experience because it takes you to one of the most active and unique volcanoes in the East Java Region. This mountain is in the middle of the border between Banyuwangi and Bondowoso. This mountain is very famous for the rare phenomenon of blue fire that can only be witnessed in the early hours of the morning inside the crater.
The journey will start in the morning where you will cross using a Ferry to Java Island. The road trip will continue to Paltuding as the starting point of the climb.
The track will be about 3 kilometers with a duration of about 1.5 to 2 hours and will take you to an altitude of 2,386 meters above sea level. From above, you can see a panoramic view of the crater, blue flame light, and turquoise-colored acid lake.
During the trekking, you can also see firsthand the activities of traditional sulfur miners who work during the sulfur smoke. The path to the crater is indeed a little challenging because it is filled with rocky terrain and sharp descents.
